The Fender Telecaster Thinline guitars from the tail end of the '60s are still deeply loved for their unmistakable semi-hollow single-coil sound and incredibly light weight. Since it's been lucky enough to inherit both the slight, light frame and distinctive sound of its ancestors, this American Original '60s Telecaster will no doubt have admirers falling at its feet. To faithfully emulate the sound of the original example (first sculpted by German luthier, Roger Rossmeisl, back in 1968) the venerable pickup guru, Tim Shaw was drafted in. As such, two of his specially designed single-coil pickups grace this Tele with that sparkling pre-1972 thinline sound.

The ash body of this semi-hollow Fender Tele pretty much speaks for itself. The acoustic core sound is extra light and airy, sweet and naturally twangy in character while the maple neck not only emphasises the level of build quality, but helps to tighten the low-end and push it further to the front of the overall tone. The trusted Fender playing comfort is supported by 21 vintage tall frets and the slightly more contemporary 9.5" fretboard radius and, besides the finish, the full flavour of the late '60s is honoured further in details like the vintage-styled hardware and pickguard.
