Allmänt

The Wolfgang Special series guitars by EVH offer a lot of great features for a great price. The El Natural electric model, for instance, features a flamed maple top with zebra Wolfgang humbuckers and a D-Tuna. You get the excellent playing comfort, looks and sound of an Eddie van Halen signature model for a price that's made this Mexican solid-body guitar exceptionally popular, not only amongst Van Halen fans, but any guitarist who has an eye for a great deal.

Wolfgang Special: Classic core, offset body and compound radius

The offset body with short horns gives this electric EVH guitar a unique look. Even though it's got its own style, it still has a lot of classic touches. The solid basswood body, for instance, features a flamed maple archtop and a set-in quarter-sawn maple neck with a maple fretboard. The Wolfgang Backshape neck gives the Special El Natural a 25.5-inch scale length, and it has a 12 to 16-inch compound fretboard radius.

Floyd Rose tremolo and Wolfgang humbuckers

A Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge is fitted, that in combination with the locking nut, allows you to go crazy with vibrato and divebomb effects without affecting the tuning. The low E string is fitted with the EVH D-Tuna that makes one-handed drop D tuning possible. Crystal-clear cleans, oodles of overdrive and endless sustain are all delivered via the EVH Wolfgang humbuckers.
