Designed and built by the Custom Shop master-builders in Japan, the ESP Guitars Original Series Horizon-III is a supreme, six-string game-changer of an electric guitar. The solid alder body has been perfectly balanced and contoured in all the right places so that it hangs from a strap button placed precisely, just above the twelfth fret to support maximum playing comfort and maximum speed. The ESP Horizon-III: Massive Sound

Having made its mark in the eighties, ESP Guitars went on to arm eminent guitarists including George Lynch and Kirk Hammett and, in the build of the upgraded Horizon, that entire hard rock and metal legacy can be clearly read. Two ultra-versatile Seymour Duncan Custom Shop pickups have been planted at the neck and bridge, where the JB/Custom Hybrid humbucker at the bridge effortless backs up thick and powerful chords and fat pinch harmonics, and the '59/Jazz Hybrid humbucker at the neck helps shape warm and articulate leads. Engage the push/pull coil-split function hidden under the volume pot to release single-coil-style sound and double the range.

An Unprecedented Feel

Every inch of the Horizon-III is focussed on providing the best playing experience possible. So, given the materials, the body is surprisingly lightweight; the neck has a three-piece maple build and super-stable neck-through join that grants smooth access to every last one of the twenty-four Jescar FW57110-NS frets; and the Thin-U neck profile has been combined with the 12 inch radius of the ebony fretboard to speed up the playability even further. Polishing everything off, a mounted Floyd Rose Original double locking tremolo bridge supports the most extreme vibrato effects you have in your arsenal.
