Max Cavalera comes with some formidable credentials. A legend of Metal, he's played in Sepultura, Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy and Killer Be Killed. Together with ESP, the infamous frontman has developed a soon-to-be-infamous guitar with fresh a body-shape that combines the sharp horns of the AX model with the base of the EX model to create a black-finished and white-bevelled Frankenstein's monster in the MAX-200 RPR.

Any tuning experiments are stabilised by the solid tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar and a high level of playing speed and comfort is ensured by the maple neck and rosewood fretboard, complete with Soulfly-logo position markers to truly finish this straight-up, shredding dream.

The ESP Brand

In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya opened his Electric Sound Products shop in Japan. His meticulous, high-quality replacement parts soon earned him the reputation he deserved and it wasn't long before the shop started to churn out its very own guitars under the name ESP. In the 1980s, the brand got a real boost when numerous metal bands, including Metallica, picked up an ESP guitar.
