Previously, this model was only available to the public as a pricey ESP Relic or as the Limited Edition KH-25, but now ESP LTD is humouring fans with the more budget-friendly KH-202 CAUTION. This brand new guitar wasn't artificially aged, but allows you to add your very own page to the annals of rock history. The iconic orange 'Caution Hot' graphic is clearly present, of course! KH-202 CAUTION: a versatile sound

Kirk Hammett prefers a specific neck profile that allows him to play super-fast, so in true style, the KH-202 CAUTION features an extra-slim U profile. Like any lead gitarist, the living legend loves to use his tremolo, which is why ESP LTD has equipped this signature model with a Floyd Rose Special that allows you to play the craziest licks without detuning your instrument. Two ESP humbuckers provide you with plenty of output, but thanks to its elaborate volume and tone controls, the KH-202 CAUTION still allows for a surprisingly versatile sound.

The ESP brand

In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya opened his Electric Sound Products shop in Japan. His high-quality replacement parts soon earned him the reputation he deserved, and it wasn't long before the shop started to turn out its very own guitars under the name ESP. In the 1980s, the brand got a real boost when numerous metal bands, such as Metallica, started to use its guitars.
