H-1007B Koa: tighter than tight

This axe is fitted with two active EMG humbuckers. In the bridge position is an EMG 81-7X with a ceramic magnet that delivers detailed tones with plenty of high frequencies. In the neck position, an EMG 60-7X offers an open, bright sound. Both pickups use an active preamp that gives the low B string plenty of punch and clarity. Even in Drop-A the sound won't become muddied. The X series pickups combine the shredding sounds that you expect from active EMG humbuckers, with the attack sensitivity and soul of passive pickups.

Optimal playing comfort

The ESP LTD H-1007B Koa is a baritone guitar. Thanks to the longer scale length of 27 inches, the strings feel tighter than on a standard model. This makes playing fast and tight riffs on the lower strings easier. Playing comfort is further enhanced by the thin neck's U profile and ebony fretboard.
