Quite some time ago, ESP made their own variation of the famously asymmetrical V-shaped electric guitar, and named it the Arrow. The ESP LTD ARROW-401, however, is the first Arrow model with the letters LTD on its headstock. As such, this marvellously stylish axe is within the reach of guitarists who want a reliable, excellent-sounding instrument at an affordable price. Its especially attractive features include a Floyd Rose for deep dive bombs without tuning issues.

ARROW-401: a metal monster

The LTD ARROW-401 is a thoroughbred metal guitar that is about more than just wicked looks. Its beautiful body is home to two active humbuckers and a genuine Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. The active humbuckers ensure a sound as tight as tights (the EMG 85 has an even sound, while the EMG 81 sounds warmer), backed up by a sustain-enhancing set-through neck. Set-through means that the neck runs down through the body, allowing for a flat heel that is great for reaching even the highest frets with ease.
