Dropped from the Epiphone One Collection, the Les Paul Melody Maker is an insanely affordable, no-nonsense tone-machine mounted with a pair of single-coils and finished with unique, retro flair. The balanced, resonant sound of the solid alder body and bolt-on maple is more than enough to please more experienced guitarists as well as novices, and plugged in, you get treated to the amplified sound of a 700SCR pickup at the bridge and a 650SCR at the neck. Using the three-way pickup selector switch, both pickups can be combined or isolated and any final tweaks can be made using the fuss free single volume and tone controls. This solid Student-model LP has even been fitted with a stable, intonated and adjustable Wrap-Around Combo bridge.
