The EKO VL480 is an affordable riff machine with a solid basswood body mounted with two passive pickups and a set of two tone control pots, two volume pots, and a 3-way switch for flipping and dialing in a broad range of rich and powerful sounds. While the tone packs all of the necessary force, it's the smaller details like the body-binding, pickguard and position markers that add those all-important, magic finishing touches.

For a more snug feel, this EKO model has been given a slightly shorter-than-average 24.75-inch scale length, bringing the distance between the bridge and nut down to around 62.9cm and lowering the string tension so that chords and notes can be grabbed with a lighter touch.
