Allmänt

With the Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1, Charvel return to their roots. This model is essentially a traditional 'Hot Rod' guitar made for heavy rock and face-melting solos. It features an alder body equipped with Seymour Duncan's renowned JB + '59 humbucker pickup set, which is paired with a volume knob that has a push/pull coil split function so the humbuckers can be forced to sound like single-coils. You even get a No-Load Tone Control that allows the tone potentiometer to be completely isolated, leaving you with nothing but the raw-and-natural sound of the guitar. Also, just in case you hadn't noticed, this limited-edition model sports a Sin City Sparkle finish complete with a matching headstock.

The Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1: Optimum Playing Comfort

A great guitar should not only sound good, but feel right. That's why Charvel have opted for a compound radius fretboard which starts out relatively rounded at the headstock where it measures 12 inches before it flattens out towards the body where it measures 16 inches. This design ensures that both chords and solos are smooth and comfortable to play. The maple Speed Neck, meanwhile, has been reinforced with graphite which not only adds strength, but boosts the tuning stability.
