Allmänt
Sticking to simple and traditional design details while upping the elegance when it comes to the aesthetics, the Chapman Guitars ML1 Modern electric guitar features a solid alder body finished with ash veneer. The subtle paint job gives the wood grain room to show through, while the natural wood binding and black sides and back complete a stunning colour contrast to accentuate the comfy contouring. Chapman have then outfitted the ML1 Modern with a pair of Chapman Sonorous Zero passive humbuckers which already deliver a flexible tonal range that's ideal for high-gain settings, but as soon as the push-pull split-coil function is engaged, can just as easily unleash pure and clean single-coil-style output.
The Chapman ML1 Modern: Snug Playability
One of the standout features of the ML1 Modern is the maple neck, which combines with an ebony fretboard to guarantee snapping accents while the C-profile carve and rounded fretboard edges support a smooth and snug feel all the way up to the highest of the twenty-four jumbo frets. Designed with an eye for detail, this model also boasts the more accurate intonation, improved resonant transfer and stable tuning of a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut and a fixed bridge with a string-through-body setup.
