Allmänt

With the Yamaha DTX920K, you won't run out of options any time soon. It's an elaborate electronic drum kit with 5 drum pads - kick pad included - and 4 cymbal pads. The remarkable thing about the DTX920K, is that it offers a huge amount of variation in a single kit. Both the DTX drum pads and cymbal pads feature 3 playable zones. The module, meanwhile, allows for plenty of possibilities: 1,115 drum sounds and 211 melodies, as well as allowing you to import up to 1,584 external drum sounds. Furthermore, the module also offers other functions, like an elaborate metronome and sequencer. If you're an acoustic player who's always wanted to try an electronic kit, then this might be the time to make the leap!

Yamaha DTX920K: a true flagship

As we mentioned before, each of the DTX920K's pads (except for the hi-hat cymbal pad) has three playable zones. This allows for a ton of tonal and dynamic variation, and gives the kit a highly realistic feel, as there is a real difference in playing the centre of a tom, playing near the edge, or hitting the rim. Moreover, each pad has a special control knob that allows you to fine-tune certain settings, adjusting the tuning of a tom or snare, for instance, or switching the entire pad on or off. Of course, you can also freely assign sounds to each pad (or rim) - you could, for instance, assign a cowbell or a similar percussion sound to a tom rim for easy access. Finally, the cymbal pads also feature three playable zones, and accurately pick up tiny details in your playing, even allowing you to choke them.
