Yamaha presents the AC3R ARE from their popular A series. This Concert steel-string guitar with cutaway and a tried-and-trusted blend of wood types has rounded contours and an all-solid construction. The solid top is made of Sitka spruce and combines nicely with the rosewood back and sides. The bridge and fretboard are also made of rosewood. The neck features a comfortable satin-gloss finish for a smooth, worn feel while the body has a high-gloss lacquer layer. This electro-acoustic Yamaha comes complete with a gig bag!
The aforementioned spruce top is treated with Yamaha's patented A.R.E process, which involves reducing the level of humidity in the wood to the amount normally found in a truly vintage guitar. This, in combination with the scalloped bracing, gives this guitar a lively tone with lots of volume. It has a balanced sound with a rounded punch thanks to the piëzo pickup and System71 preamp, which translates your sound to your amp with great transparency. The mic blend feature allows you to select a simulation of a condenser mic and add it to your total sound. Thanks to its versatility, this excellent electro-acoustic flat-top is sure to be appreciated by guitarists of any genre.
