This guitar from the Pro Series 3 is the New Yorker, the smallest model from Takamine's product range. But don't let its small size fool you as its sound is bright, full and has a sweet character. Thanks to its great playability and high-quality electronics, you can expect a unique acoustic playing experience, together with a distinctive sound.
Takamine P3NY BLK electro-acoustic western guitar black: sapele and cedar
This Takamine western guitar has sides and a back made of sapele and a solid cedar top, resulting in a warm, clear and balanced sound. The top has been reinforced by means of X-bracing, which is beneficial to the sound as well. The neck is made of mahogany and has a rosewood fretboard with dot-in-dot position markers. You get perfect intonation thanks to the split bridge saddle made of synthetic bone, which has a pinless design, so you can quickly and easily replace the strings. Gold-coloured die-cast tuners will keep this guitar in tune for a long period of time.
Electronics
This New Yorker-model western guitar is fitted with the first-grade CT4BII preamp, featuring a 3-band equalizer, volume controls and a built-in tuner. This gives you total control over your sound, on stage as well as in the studio. All in all, the Takamine P3NY Black is a high-quality guitar that comes at a very friendly price!
