Fender knows like no other how the sound of an acoustic guitar is dependent on certain elements like wood type, bridge, string nut and preamplifier. Which is why these elements are heavily focused on in the new Paramount series. This PM-1 Deluxe is a dreadnought versionmodel with a traditional Vintage Sunburst finish. Its solid -body spruce and rosewood construction boasts a warm sound with plenty of clarity which is enhanced by a chic ebony fretboard that bears the late '40s Fender logo.

Fender can certainly be proud of their rich history. That's why they've implemented a mix of recognisable Fender elements in the design of the new PM-1, like the Concert Tone position markers inlays, which are made of mother-of-pearl and abalone. The typical Ccheckerboard pattern on the sound hole rosette and purfling is taken right out of the sixties, while the headstock and bridge designs are from the seventies. The rosewood fretboard is also equipped with a compensated bone saddle for improved intonation.

The name Paramount has a rich history, and is associated with the renowned concert hall in Seattle as well as the American record label, for starters. In order to maintain the excellent reputation attached to that name, Fender aimed to use the very best elementsparts and wood types available within the targeted price class. The types of wood were selected to give these solid-body, electro-acoustic steel-string guitars a rich sound. Additionally, a custom-built preamp complements the body type beautifully. The icing on the cake is a luxury case with humidifier to keep this guitar in optimal shape.
