Easily record your acoustic set without the need for instrument mics and complex set-ups with the Crafter GAE18/N. This electro-acoustic steel-string guitar features a built-in pickup and can be played acoustically and electrically. It has a solid cedar top for a warm, deep sound while the rosewood sides and back provide the guitar with some extra high and low. This model has a cutaway in the body so even the highest frets can be effortlessly played.

Crafter GAE18/N: Solid Top, Solid Sustain

The GAE18's top is made of solid cedar. This means the entire top has been cut out of the same piece of wood as opposed to laminated wood, which consists of multiple plies of wood glued together. Solid top guitar are better at transferring string vibration over to the resonance box, resulting in more volume and increased sustain. This Grand Auditorium style guitar has a slightly narrower waist compared to a Dreadnought and sounds a tad sharper and more accurate.

The electronics inside of this acoustic guitar include a built-in Piëzo pickup at the bridge and a separate preamplifier which allows you to plug the GAE18 directly into an (acoustic) amp, mixer or PA. The LR-T NX preamp includes a 3-band EQ and large volume knob. The Notch filter lets you eliminate the frequencies between 0 and 300 Hz and the Phase button is perfect for preventing feedback on stage. The cherry on top is the built-in chromatic tuner with backlit LCD display.
