Pearl P-1002CX Elimin8R Double Bass Drum Pedal

Allmänt

With the Pearl P-1002CX Elimin8R, you’re getting a complete double bass drum pedal that you can adjust to suit your own playing style. This model builds on the Eliminator series and combines a gearless dual-chain drive with a sturdy frame and a solid base plate. This gives you a stable foundation, even when you’re really going for it. The length-adjustable connecting shaft transmits the movement of the second pedal without delay. Meanwhile, the smooth footboard with a brushed chrome finish gives your feet plenty of room to move smoothly forwards and backwards. A practical combination for drummers seeking both speed and control.

Choose the response that suits you

Do you want a snappy response or a smooth, even pedal feel? With the Elimin8R’s interchangeable cam system, you can have it both ways. The Progressive cam delivers an aggressive, snappy response, whilst the Linear Action cam offers a smooth and consistent response. The PowerShifter function also helps you fine-tune the settings to your liking. By moving the footplate forwards or backwards, you can choose from three settings for a light, normal or heavy pedal feel. Once you’ve found your preferred spring tension, the Click-Lock adjustment locks that setting in place. This prevents the tension from changing unnoticed whilst you’re playing.

Two beaters, precisely adjustable

The two redesigned Control Core DuoBeaters each feature a striking surface made of hard plastic and one made of felt. This allows you to switch easily between two different playing characteristics. The elastomer core helps to dampen vibrations and contributes to the feel and power of your stroke. The beater angle of the main pedal is infinitely adjustable; for the second pedal, you use the Uni-Lock angle adjustment. As you can adjust that second beater independently, you can precisely match both pedals to each other. Finally, the side-accessible rim clamp makes it easy to attach the pedal to your bass drum, without having to work underneath the footboard.
