Universal Audio's plugins emulate the sound and behaviour of classic analogue gear in a remarkably natural way. You can choose from an extensive selection of nearly sixty plugins, developed in collaboration with some of the most prominent brands in the professional audio business. Pick your favourites from emulations by Studer, SSL, Manly, Empirical Labs, Neve, Roland, Lexicon, Pultec, SPL and others. The Universal Audio UAD-2 Quad Custom is supplied with the Analog Classics plugin bundle, as well as three additional plugins of your choice.
Powerful DSP processors
Universal Audio offers four different UAD-2 PCI Express cards: the Solo, the Duo, the Quad and the Octo. The former has one SHARC processor, while the latter is equipped with eight, and logically the cards' processing power increases accordingly. As the Universal Audio plugins only use the processing power of your UAD 2 card, your system is able to handle more automations, tracks, other effects and virtual instruments. If you're still short on DSP power, you can simply incorporate another card into your system, and get cracking once more.
