With the Fisa Suprema, Korg takes everyone by surprise and shakes up the accordion-verse. This revolutionary digital accordion combines classic looks with advanced features and wide-ranging, authentic sound based on physical modelling technology. Sounds good!
The Korg Fisa Suprema
The Fisa Suprema is essentially a synthesizer engine with bellows as a built-in, extra-expressive expression pedal. The fact that the sound is generated by two digital chips comes with two massive advantages. Firstly, it keeps the weight down since there are no reed ranks and register switches inside. Secondly, players aren't limited to accordion sound. In fact, Korg has loaded the Fisa Suprema with no less than 45 different accordion models, plus organs and a ton of other sounds. The accordions and organs are powered by physical modelling technology for maximum realism, while the other sounds are sample-based. Add that to the 320-voice polyphony and velocity-sensitive keys (with aftertouch), and the options on the table are near endless.
Colour Display, Bluetooth, MIDI and More
In addition to a strategically-placed colour display, the Fisa Suprema features a considerable number of controls, not to mention modern perks like USB/MIDI and Bluetooth/MIDI connections, and that's on top of DIN-MIDI, a headphone output, a built-in speaker and a pair of line outputs.
Who's It For?
Despite its progressive design, the Korg Fisa Suprema is aimed at every musician. This first-class digital accordion supports orchestral as well as traditionally-trained musicians, providing an authentic playing feel alongside ultra-versatile sound. The price is on par with high-end acoustic accordions, but the potential is arguably far bigger!
