Apollo is not just the Greek god of fine arts, but a talented young musician as well. No wonder DateQ chose to honour him with this mixer, which makes life easy for a new generation of DJs. The DateQ Apollo offers a range of practical features, such as a beat compare circuit and transform buttons.

Thanks to its return input, external reverb can easily be mixed into the Apollo's master signal. The mixer has seven channels, each equipped with two inputs. A total of two microphones, three turntables and nine line signals (CD or MD players, samplers, grooveboxes, keyboards, etc.) can be hooked up to the Apollo. All channels have a three-way switch (A-Master-B), so each channel can either be linked to the A or the B side of the crossfader, or directly to the master. The Apollo's crossfader is VCA-controlled, which means it passes control voltages instead of audio signals, considerably prolonging its life and effectively countering noise and signal loss issues.

Additionally, the DateQ Apollo offers an extra tool for creative DJs in the form of transport buttons. Press them, and they make the crossfader's signal audible. Release them, and the sound is gone again. Another unique feature is the built-in beat compare circuit with advanced micro processor technology, which enables you to display two beat signals side by side right above the crossfader. LEDs clearly show you whether the pitch of a source has to be lowered or raised to end up with matching beats. Creating seamless transitions will be a piece of cake! Each of the Apollo's channels comes with its own gain control and 3-band equalizer, while a cue function allows for monitoring. Thanks to the mixer's split function, you can listen to both the CUE and the master signal on your headphones.

Would you like to amplify frequencies under 125 Hz separately? The DateQ Apollo has a sub low output that makes it possible. The master output can be transmitted via balanced XLR or RCA connectors, and the monitor output has individual volume control. As an additional feature, the Apollo offers an effect return input, which allows you to add some external reverb to your master mix. Finally, the microphone inputs' effect send can be set to pre-fader or post-fader by means of jumpers.
