AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 wireless on-ear DJ headphones

Allmänt

Every DJ knows the feeling: you step a bit too far from the mixer, the cable yanks your headphones off, and suddenly your set is thrown off. The AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 puts an end to that, letting you move freely behind the decks without restrictions. AlphaTheta’s proprietary SonicLink wireless technology reduces latency down to a staggering 9 milliseconds, so you can beatmatch, cue, and scratch seamlessly without ever feeling a delay in the connection. With SonicLink Touch Pairing, simply tap the headphones against compatible DJ gear, such as the DJM-V5 (running the latest firmware), and you’re connected instantly. To use SonicLink with other setups, just connect the separately available SonicLink Transmitter HP-TX01 to hook up to a wide range of devices.

Sub-bass power and booth-ready isolation: the AlphaTheta HDJ-F9

Compact size doesn't mean compromising on punch. The newly developed 40mm drivers deliver full, tight response right down to the sub-bass range. The bass-reflex chamber at the top of each housing keeps the attack of basslines and kicks sharp and well-defined, allowing you to instantly hear how your kick and bass line up while mixing. A PEEK-PU-PEEK composite diaphragm dampens unwanted resonance, keeping mid and high frequencies crystal-clear with minimal distortion. Thanks to its optimized internal design, it offers impressive passive noise isolation for an on-ear model, so you can cue accurately in loud club environments without cranking the volume to dangerous levels. Your ears will thank you after the set.

Built for every cueing style: the AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 adapts to you

Whether you listen with both ears, one ear, or rest the headphones on your shoulder between transitions, the HDJ-F9 seamlessly moves with you. The swivel earcups and flexible silicone headband sit comfortably no matter how often you adjust them. The adjustable slider is crafted from rugged die-cast aluminium, and the headphones have passed rigorous international durability tests—delivering the rock-solid reliability expected from a true booth workhorse. If you ever prefer a wired connection, simply plug in the included 1.2m coiled cable, which stretches up to roughly 3 metres.

Your colour, your connection: the AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 in the app

Using the HEADPHONES CONNECT app, you can customise the colour and brightness of the status LED to match your night’s theme or music style. You can give your headphones a custom name, set auto power-off, and assign the control button to trigger Siri or Google Assistant. If you misplaced them after a set, the Find My Headphones feature plays an audible tone to help you locate them. Multipoint Bluetooth lets you pair two devices simultaneously (like your phone and laptop), while Google Fast Pair and Windows Swift Pair make connecting to Android and Windows devices effortless. The built-in microphone handles hands-free calls seamlessly. Over SonicLink, you get up to 7 hours of playback with the LED on and around 9 hours with it off; if your battery runs low, a quick 30-minute charge gives you roughly 2.5 hours of music time.
