Reloop Beatpad 2 DJ controller

Reloop has issued a successor for the Beatpad: the Reloop Beatpad 2! It has been modelled after the original Beatpad, but features two times eight trigger pads, so its layout has been subject to some changes. This second version of the Reloop DJ controller is perfectly compatible with mobile devices like the iPad and iPhone, and now even supports Android devices - just slide them into the designated slot at the back. Other improvements include a switchable EQ and filter section. The Reloop Beatpad 2 was specifically designed for Algoriddim Djay 2, but can also be used with other DJ software.

Reloop Beatpad 2: trigger pads

Most DJ controllers are equipped with trigger pads, so it's no big surprise to find these controls on the Beatpad 2 as well. Trigger pads are quite popular because of their great flexibility. You can use them to set, trigger and control various functions and modes: Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Touch FX, Slicer, Bounce Loop, Jog FX or Slice Loop. Depending on their function, the trigger pads light up in different colours, providing you with a clear overview. The Reloop Beatpad 2 is equipped with an internal sound card, so you can plug your headphones straight in.
