The Monster GO-DJ is an exceptionally compact, stand-alone DJ controller. It features two touch screens - each with their own virtual turntable - with a mixer section in between. Simply connect the GO-DJ to an active speaker or mixer and be prepared to amaze everyone in the room with the wide array of tracks, samples, sequences and effects you can draw from this pint-size device. It also features a headphone connection for monitoring. What's more, the GO-DJ allows you to record two hours of mixes.
The independent GO-DJ
Monster's GODJ will operate for about 12 hours on a fully charged battery (via USB or power adapter). You can upload your tracks easily by connecting the controller to a PC or Mac and dragging your MP3 or WAV files to the correct folder. Should you need more than the standard 2 GB, the GO-DJ has an SD slot to create up to 32 GB of extra memory. What's more, you can assign one of the virtual decks to the line input, so you can throw tracks from a smartphone or other line-output device into the mix on the GO-DJ.
Effects, samples and equalizer
In addition to an actual crossfader, the Monster GO-DJ is equipped with automatic sync, BPM analysis and four hot-cue positions. Moreover, both platters can be used for scratching, pitch bending and spindowns. Also, you can play one shots, loops and drones via the Sample pad as well as create simple sequences with the Step Sequencer. Lastly, the controller features eight effects that can be deployed at the same time and a visual three-band equalizer.
