The Soldano SLO pedal simply plants the immediately recognisable sound of an iconic Super Lead Overdrive 100 guitar amplifier directly on your pedalboard. Since its release in 1987, the SLO-100 has been known for being one of the most detailed-sounding high-gain guitar amps on the planet. Courtesy of this tight little stompbox, all of that valve-flavoured nuance is now offered up to the more budget-conscious masses. While pedalboard-friendly, the Soldano SLO Pedal uses exactly the same step-based gain stages to guarantee a wide sonic array, all backed up by an incredible dynamic response.

The Soldano Super Lead Overdrive Pedal: From the '80s to Now

Even the control panel has been loaded with the same set of controls as the original 100-Watt-strong valve amplifier, so everything is dialled in via a three-band EQ section as well as the Volume, Presence and Gain controls and, as the rich and sweet cherry on top, a Deep switch has even been fitted on the side of the pedal and can be flipped to add an extra punchy low-end. Basically, whether you're seeking the eighties rock sound of names like Eric Clapton or Warren DeMartini (Ratt), or you want the modern metal sound of Linkin Park or Killswitch Engage, with the Soldano SLO Pedal you're actually getting it all.
