Mooer's Micro Preamp 011 Cali-Dual is designed to look like the front panel found on famous American amplifier heads and it accurately emulates the preamplifier on these models giving you the same iconic tube sounds. The pedal is equipped with a 3-band EQ as well as volume and gain controls so that you can fully customise the tone. You can use the footswitch to turn the effects on and off and select one of the two on-board channels. This pedal should be connected to the effect return on your amplifier and if you want to use it with a mixer, PA or audio interface, you can activate the speaker cabinet simulation.

Cons:

- Useless cab IR.

- Not really impressive when used in front of a real amp. without fx return or any VST modeling chains (PC).



Pros:

- Really brilliant plugged inside a natural chain: OD/fx pedalboard > mooer > Eq > real amp Fx loop return OR PA (not less than 8 ohms)+real guitar Cabinet.

- instant foot switch between the two channels recalling their independent setups.
