The Yamaha YDP-S52WH is the white edition of the YDP-S52. Like its black counterpart, it boasts a slim design, making it the perfect choice for pianists who are looking for a stylish addition to their living room that won't take up too much space. Close the keyboard lid, and it will look even less conspicuous. The overall quality of a digital piano depends on both its sound and its playing comfort. The YDP-S52WH is equipped with a Pure CF sound engine that convincingly reproduces the tones of Yamaha's renowned CFIII concert grand. Additionally, it features a Graded Hammer keyboard made up of 88 synthetic ivory keys, which realistically emulates the feel of a real grand piano.

To make your piano experience as realistic as possible, Yamaha made sure that the YDP-S52WH is capable of producing 192 tones at the same time. Even if you use your sustain pedal extensively - with Damper Resonance ensuring a natural sound - all of the notes will keep on resonating. In addition to a natural-sounding concert grand, this Yamaha digital piano offers a number of other sounds, such as vintage electric piano, harpsichord and pipe organ. Using one of the four available reverb types, you can add a nice touch, conjuring up the feel of a jazz club or a concert hall.
Acoustic optimisation
The Yamaha YDP-S52 features Acoustic Optimizers that evenly disperse the sound of the two 20-watt speakers. Intelligent Acoustic Control, another feat of modern technology, ensures that both the highest trebles and the lowest bass tones are still clearly audible at low volumes. If you like playing with headphones on, you'll appreciate the spacious sound courtesy of the digital piano's Stereophonic Optimizer. Finally, changing your settings is easy using the Digital Piano Controller app in combination with an iPad or iPhone, and an optional i-UX1 interface.
