Medeli's SP4000 is a stage piano that's ideal for ambitious beginners or more experienced players. It has 88 hammer-action keys on board that give it an authentic playing feel. There are 20 different sounds including 2 grand pianos, electric pianos and various organs and 50 accompaniments in a range of different styles. There are also 60 songs that you can play along with or use the auxiliary input to connect an external sound source and play along with your own favourites. Sounds are played back via the built-in speakers or you can plug headphones into one of the two available sockets.

Playing Options

The SP4000 is easy to use thanks to the clear layout of its controls. Sounds can be combined using the layer function or you can play more than one sound at a time using the split function. The TWINOVA function splits the keyboard into two sections that each have the same register which is handy when taking lessons, for instance. There's also room for you to record and store up to five of your own songs.

Connectors

On the back, you'll find a range of inputs and outputs including one for you to add a sustain pedal. In addition to the auxiliary input, there's an auxiliary output should you wish to connect external speakers for more volume. There's also a 5-pin MIDI OUT and a USB-B port for connecting the SP4000 to a computer.
