Allmänt

Designed for both student and experienced pianists and keyboard players alike, the upright-style Medeli DP740K digital piano exceeds the limits of most digital models by doing far more than supplying just a couple of piano sounds, a harpsichord, a few organs and a vibraphone. While it could neatly slot in a corner of the living room, this piano is home to a massive bank of 1,200 different sounds and 270 different rhythms. And, while the breadth of functionality is what you'd expect from a high-spec keyboard, the DP740K looks and feels nothing like one. The acoustic-style cabinet has been fitted with a set of keys equipped with extra sensors to raise the feel of the keystrokes to a far more realistic level. In other words: this model is not only a more-than-convincing digital piano, but a far more versatile and affordable alternative to an acoustic model.

The Medeli DP740K Digital Piano

The split and twinova playing modes definitely set this piano up for piano lessons, and the fitted headphone output can support silent practise sessions, but in essence, this instrument been designed to serve as an old-school family piano. It can be used for some serious piano training in the afternoon, and then, as soon as one of the rhythms and alternative sounds are triggered, it can be used to bring some serious fun. An extensive all-rounder, this digital piano keeps things classic and simple yet modern and versatile.
