It's not just a stylish addition to your living room, but also a great asset for beginning piano students who are looking for an instrument they'll enjoy for years to come. Even if you're just on the lookout for an affordable piano that you can casually play whenever the mood strikes you, this Privia model is an excellent choice. In many ways, the PX-760 manages to approximate the characteristic sound and feel of a genuine grand piano - from its ebony and ivory-style keys to the way it emulates the rich resonance of a pressed-down sustain pedal.

PX-760WE: practising and sounds

To complete the piano experience, the PX-760WE comes with a stand, a full set of three pedals, a sheet music stand and a song book with various piano pieces. The latter is particularly useful if you're using the piano's built-in songs. You can teach yourself the left and right-hand parts by switching one of the two sides off and playing along. Additionally, the PX-760WE features ten built-in songs that accompany your piano part with full orchestral backing. Of course, this Privia model offers plenty of choices when it comes to instruments - besides various acoustic pianos, you have several electric pianos, organs and strings at your fingertips. A USB output is also present, so you can exchange MIDI data with your computer.

Sound and playing experience

To precisely register the force of your key strokes, the PX-760WE is equipped with a tri-sensor mechanism. Quick repeats are accurately reproduced, and this Casio is even capable of simulating the tiny differences in timing that occur due to different playing styles and keys. The lower keys feel much heavier than the higher ones, just like those of a real grand piano. To make the sound really authentic, factors like attack, sustain and decay have been taken into account, and you can clearly hear the difference in timbre between softly played passages and more vehement parts. Damper Resonance, finally, convincingly mimics the rich resonance you hear when you press down a sustain pedal.

Casio Privia PX-760WE digitalt piano vitt

Een hele fijne digitale piano met veel mogelijkheden. De piano en het onderstel past goed bij mijn interieur.
Als niet (vrouwelijke) techneut heb ik voor 95% zelf het pianostel in elkaar kunnen zetten. Er zit een duidelijke gebruiksaanwijzing bij. Alleen lukte het niet om de onderste balk met de pedalen te bevestigen aan het onderstel. Die schroeven zijn niet los te krijgen zonder boormachine. En die heb ik niet in huis ;).
Verder moet je goed onder de piano kijken waar de usbpoort zit en waar je de voeding kunt aansluiten.
Verder een perfecte digitale piano.
