With the GP-400BK, Casio adds a third model to the Celviano Grand Hybrid series. These stylish digital pianos combine the advantages of digital and acoustic pianos, offering the performance of a grand when it comes to tone, keyboard quality and playing comfort. With a subtle black wood grain finish, the GP-400BK is truly a sight to behold, making it a great addition to any living room.

Characteristics of the Casio GP-400BK

Casio wants to give you the best possible sound, so in designing the GP-400BK, they paid close attention to the sound of three classic grand pianos. However, Casio knows that sound alone is not enough, the feel of the keys is just as important. Luckily, this instrument's wooden keys and unique mechanics will make you feel like you're playing a real acoustic piano. Same goes for the three pedals, which further enhance the authentic feel.

Additional options

The Casio GP-400BK features three playing modes that further expand the available possibilities. The layer mode will layer different sounds, the split mode splits the keyboard into two sections that each have their own sound, and duet mode creates two sections of the keyboard with a similar tonal range. The latter is especially great for piano lessons, as student and teacher can play together side by side.

Authentic piano sound

Casio has gone to great lengths to keep the sound of the GP-500BP as authentic as possible. Typical factors like closed/open lid, pedal noise and key off sounds have all been taken into account. Fancy playing in a concert hall? Simply select one of the Casio piano's beautiful reverbs, and you'll imagine yourself there. You can even record your playing as MIDI or audio data on a UBS stick. Making your own CD to give to family or friends has never been easier.
