Rhythmic Village is an excellently developed interactive app designed for children aged 6 or older. Guided by a friendly little pirate named Oratio, the adventurer is guided through a world of musical discovery where they meet the good people of Rhythmic Village'. More commonly known as 'Rhythmiacs', this amiable bunch want nothing more than to teach you everything they know about rhythm. Through accessible, interactive exercises, the student learns the basics of reading musical notation and rhythmic symbols. The app can be installed on a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop and is compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows operating systems. A set of drum sticks also comes included.

With the single registration code that comes included, the app can be installed on up to three different devices. The integrated microphone of the device detects what's played and the app then lets the player know how well they're doing. Points are gained and goals are achieved to reach the next level, providing a fun and motivating method of learning about how rhythm works.
