Anyone working with the Standard edition of Ableton Live Standard 8 should consider upgrading to the most expansive version of Ableton: Live 9 Suite. This edition offers an impressive 54 GB of sounds from a variety of genres including EDM, jazz, fusion and many, many more.
The sound
You'll get nine virtual instruments with the upgrade, as well as Max for Live, which allows you to make your own virtual synths, effects and MIDI effects. To add to that, you'll also get the audio-to-MIDI plugin so you can convert vocals and instrumentals directly to MIDI notation!
