Allmänt
Meinl's BCA1SNT-M is a combination between two hand percussion instruments: a bongo and a cajon. What's that about? Well, it's quite simple actually. This instrument has the build of a cajon, but you play it like your would a bongo. So this is, really, a cajon that you play like a bongo, but it still sounds like a cajon!
Rubber wood and playing surfaces
The bongo-cajon is made of rubber wood (which is classified as Hevea Brasiliensis) and features a matte finish. Rubber wood is a supple type of wood that makes it very comfortable to play. Furthermore, the bongo cajon features two playing surfaces, one high pitched and one low pitched, and by using these to their full extent, you will be able to produce a wide array of different sounds with this single instrument.
