If you have a great guitar, a good amp, and some awesome effects pedals, the only thing you need is a buffer to ensure your guitar sound is as optimal as possible when it reaches your amp. But, why get only one buffer when you can have two? Mesa Boogie offers this High-Wire Dual Buffer & Output Boost pedal that provides (dual) buffering to your signal. Not only that, it also has a variable boost that you can switch on or off with your foot that can add 22dB of extra gain to your signal! The High-Wire also features a fixed boost that offers an additional 3dB which you can also switch on or off. There's also a tuner output with a mute you can activate by holding down the pedal down with your foot.

High-Wire: high quality and buffer boost

Even though all that extra boost is fun to play around with, this pedal is an excellent buffer, first and foremost. It provides your guitar's pickups with the correct load for a consistent, stable sound. When you connect your effects pedals to the High-Wire in a loop formation, they will be supplied with a low-impedance signal, thus preventing any unwanted interference or noise. The outgoing signal which goes from the High-Wire to your amp is also provided with the right load for optimal functionality. The pedal is powered by means of a 9V DC adapter and will fit nicely on your pedal board.
