Racks can be quite handy, as anyone with a studio will surely know. If you have a rack with wheels, or a combi flight case, then it's a good idea to mount an extension lead in your rack. If you're looking for just that, then the 19-inch Brennenstuhl Premium Line 6-way surge protector is just the ticket. With it, you can wheel your rack around with only a single cord sticking out of the back. If you have a double-door rack flight case, you could even mount the extension lead on the back, where you won't see it, and plug in all your other rack equipment there.

Safety and quality

The six sockets are placed in a solid and safe housing. This is not some low-budget product that could've come from any supermarket, this is a high-grade professional product. The safety aspect alludes to the surge protection, of course - this product will protect your equipment against any electrical calamities such as lightning strikes or wire breaks (up to 30,000 A). It would be a shame if your valuable equipment was damaged, while simply using a surge protector (such as this one) would have prevented that from happening.
