If you're asked to take notes during a meeting, often times, things go so quickly you can't write fast enough to keep up. The Olympus WS-853 voice recorder solves your problem for you by capturing everything so you can transcribe it later. Two voice microphones capture the audio from every direction. Thanks to the intelligent automatic mode (all audio at the same volume level, regardless of distance from the mic) and the anti-noise filter, this device provides crystal-clear recordings.

Besides being able to choose between different recording setups (like seminar, meeting, or dictaphone), you can also select how much memory you want to utilise. Next to the standard 8 GB of internal memory, you can add a micro SD/SDHC card of up to 32 GB. When you want to empty the memory, simply slide open the retractable USB connector on the top and plug it into your computer. This also charges the device.

Customise for easy use

Do you want to switch quickly between playback and recording mode? There is an option just for you. Instead of the regular menu with lots of options, you can view a simplified menu with your own personalised settings. If you don't feel like holding the WS-853, simply place it in its stand. When you're finished using it, store it in the included pouch.
