A compressor and gate, all rolled into one

The 266XS is both a compressor and a gate, all rolled into one, meaning you only have to control and carry one device instead of two. The 266XS can operate in both stereo or dual-mono mode, has true RMS power summing, and high-quality XLR and TRS inputs and outputs. DBX also didn't forget about visual feedback, which features gain reduction metering and easy-to-read, backlit switches.

Geweldig apparaat! Jammer dat er alleen een engelstalige bebruiksaanwijzing bijzit. Compressietechniek vergt toch wel wat kennis, maar met dit app. kom je echt wel verder, want met de autostand en overeasy switch leer je de verschillen met het originele signaal te beoordelen. een verrijking voor iedereen die wel wat meer wil dan alleen maar "luisteren" En dat voor die prijs!!

Hoi, wij gebruiken als amateurs sinds enkele dagen de comp/gate voor de drums (kick en snare). De resultaten zijn verbluffend, na een beetje zoeken...een droge korte kick, en een snare waar de galm-effecten veel beter bij gaan klinken. Het volume kan ook rustig een trapje omhoog zonder feedback. We moeten nog heel wat uittesten met de wat extremere settings maar da's gewoon lol om te doen. We hebben er meteen nog een besteld voor de overige toms. Daarna volgen de zangmics. Het toestel doet gewoon wat het moet doen, da's toch geweldig voor zo'n prijsje?
