Characteristics of the Yamaha AG03
This mixer is equipped with a high-quality, studio-grade D-PRE microphone preamp that captures every nuance of your voice or instrument in minute detail. Connect it to your PC or Mac via USB, and your signal is transmitted in pristine 192kHz/24-bit quality. Thanks to the Hi-Z input, your guitar will sound absolutely fantastic. If you have an iPad or laptop, you can use the AG03 as an audio interface for mobile mixing. In that case, it is powered via USB, for instance by means of a USB Power Bank.
Effects
The AG03 offers a number of effects that are slightly out of the ordinary. Channel 1 is equipped with a compressor/equalizer and a reverb, but these can only be switched on or off, not edited on the AG itself. Editing the effects requires software (PC/Mac), which basically tells you how comprehensive they really are. The AG03 comes with Cubase AI music production software, which can be downloaded free of charge. It's safe to say that, with their AG mixers, Yamaha has issued a line of comprehensive equipment, optimised for a specific purpose.
