During live gigs, you often have to rely on your mixer, and if it breaks down, you might as well pack your bags. As such, choosing the right mixer is incredibly important. Luckily, we offer Soundcraft's GB2 16CH. This mixer features sixteen channels, consisting of a combination of sixteen mono inputs for microphones and instruments, and two stereo inputs for a stage piano or CD player. It features a balanced rotary knob for its stereo inputs, and a PAN for all mono inputs that allows you to distribute the sound of a channel into a sound field. You can switch on phantom power for each input, and below the phantom power control you'll find the phase reverse switch. Below that switch, there's the 100Hz low-cut filter which removes low tones from the signal; this ensures that you won't be bothered by tones that have nothing to do with speech and vocals.
The mixer features four subgroups, each with a stereo configuration and XLR connectors. Additionally, the mixer also offers six AUX outputs that each have their own potentiometer per channel, and can be adjusted for use as pre or post faders. This means you can choose whether you want the transmitted signal to include the fader into account or not. Each channel also features a mute switch so you can easily mute signals. You can also pair groups so that you can send out an entire drum kit with just one fader. The GB2 is the perfect choice if you're looking for a compact, yet complete mixer.
