Allmänt

If you're looking for an excellent amp for your one-wo/man show, then you're in the right place! The 180W ACX1800 has two channels: one with a single 6.3mm input jack and a second with a 6.3mm input and XLR input, which is ideal for those purposes. You can easily adjust the gain to determine the volume for each channel.

On the rear panel you'll find a stereo RCA input for connecting an external audio device, such as an MP3 or CD player. If you're just getting started with the guitar, this is a great way to play along with your favourite music. On the other hand, if you've been playing for a longer time, you can use the CD input to play music during breaks in your show. Two XLR line outputs send a signal directly to a mixing board, and you can connect an external effects processor with the 6.3mm instrument insert send and return jacks.

Both channels have a 7-band EQ, equipped with Behringer's FBQ feedback detection system for immediate feedback elimination. You also get a 24-bit effects processor with sixteen fantastic presets, such as reverb and delay, per channel. A foot switch comes with the delivery as well, so you can easily control the effects.

The instrument channel (on the left side) consists of a phase switch that determines the phase - a function that can eliminate the feedback that's common in acoustic guitar pickups. Both channels also have a tuner switch that mutes the speaker so you can tune your guitar with an external tuning device. This can be directly connected to the amplifier via the Tuner Out 6.3mm jack on the rear panel. Furthermore, two original 8-inch dual-cone speakers project your sound with the utmost precision.

Après quelques mois d'utilisation, voici mon avis. Après le choc du 1er branchement, je l'ai mis de coté en me disant "au p..... c'est quoi cette grosse M....". Puis, en y revenant, j'ai un peu changé d'avis.

UTILISATION : pas si facile qu'on croit, les égaliseurs sont difficile à comprendre, comme certains effets.

SONS: J'ai passé beaucoup de temps sur les égaliseurs, pour arriver à un résultat pas trop mal, en effet il faut tester chaque fréquence une par une pour trouver celle (ou les 2) qui sonnent tout pourri, dans les médiums. Une fois éliminées, le son métallique disparait. Certes ça manque encore de chaleur et de présence (comme en a le Marshall 50 que j'ai revendu pour manque de puissance et de canaux). Pour la voix je suis arrivé à qqchose d'acceptable. Pour la guitare ça reste un peu fade. Pour la compression, ça marche pas, c'est nul. Pour les effets, ils sont trop moches, c'est du très bas de gamme. Donc Mr Berhinger virez moi tout ça et contentez vous d'une réverbe de type room, avec un seul bouton.

PUISSANCE : la valeur nominale doit correspondre à la somme des 3 canaux à fonds.

QUALITE DE FABRICATION : attention c'est fragile. Normal c'est cheep !

AUTRE CANAL : ah le canal audio sur entrées rca derrière, il est pas mal celui là, c'est quand même un comble pour un ampli accoustic. J'y branche ma boite à rythmes pour les répètes. Manque juste un filtre grave et aigus. Finalement cet ampli c'est une sono.

IDEE : passer par une petite table de mixage avec égalisation 3 bandes, et tout entrer par le canal audio. J'ai essayé, on y gagne. Evitez la même marque, moins par moins en musique, ça ne fait pas plus.

CONCLUSION : il ira jamais faire du live cet ampli ! mais il est acceptable en répète. Pour le même prix, plutôt acheter une enceinte active et une petite table de mixage equalisable.
