Allmänt

Since it comes topped with Alpine spruce from Il Bosco Che Suona (The Wood That Plays), the Fender Suona Jazz Bass Thinline is literally made of the same stuff as priceless Stradivari violins. This is a one-off, semi-hollow, thinline edition of the classic Jazz Bass, and it comes with some extra violin-style flair, from the Violin Burst finish of the spruce and ash body and matched headstock to the chic f-hole. Sealed in high-gloss nitrocellulose, the wood is given plenty of room to breathe and mature with age, meaning that the sound will only get better as this four-string wonder gets older. Deluxe case included.

The Limited Edition Fender Suona Jazz Bass Thinline: Refined Playability

Besides the violin-style look and build, one of the standout features of this Jazz Bass is the flamed maple neck, which has been roasted to boost stability and has a modern-C profile carve to support a controlled grip. The fretboard, meanwhile, has a vintage compound radius that smoothly graduates from 7.25 inches at the headstock to 9.5 inches at the body, raising the comfort levels for your fret hand. To complete the violin detailing, the fretboard has even been wiped clean of position markers, and so you're assured of classic Fender tone, a pair of exclusive Custom-Designed Suona single-coils take up the bridge and middle positions.
