This Behringer VQ1500D subwoofer makes the ideal addition to your club or DJ set if you're looking for some serious bass for your sound. Behringer VQ1500D: 'Homemade' speakers

The speakers featured in the VQ1800D subwoofer are made completely by Behringer. They wind their own voice coils, make their own cones from paper pulp and produce all of the other speaker components. This means that Behringer has full control over the entire process from start to finish, resulting in better speakers. Furthermore, the VQ1800Ds are driven by a 500W class D amplifier. This digital amplifier functions very efficiently, meaning there's very little loss of power due to heat conversion. Such efficiency keeps the system quite cool and makes expensive, interference-sensitive ventilators unnecessary. In the end, Behringer's design and production process provides you with a lighter, cooler, quieter system. Well, quieter until it's time to pump some bass!

Extensive Settings Control

The VQ1500D is equipped with a variety of features that put the control in your hands. For one thing, this subwoofer is equipped with balanced XLR connectors on all inputs and outputs, so you don't have to worry about signal loss. Besides that, you'll also find an adjustable boost knob which allows you make a given frequency more powerful. Switching on the boost gives the frequency in question (between 40 and 90 Hz) a boost of 6 dB, for a bone-rattling bass! Indicate the crossover point for the high frequencies with the high-cut control, which will only effect the signal of the subwoofer and not signals of the thru or full-range outputs. Finally, a volume control and a phase switch are provided so you canadjust the subwoofer precisely to your taste.
