The Vonyx VSA12 active speaker is a solid pick for DJs and other live performers in need of a full-range, club-ready unit equipped with various inputs and outputs. Backed up by a 400W class-AB amplifier, this bi-amped speaker can handle peaks of up to 800W and can be fed anything from microphone and guitar to line and AUX signals. You're even free to hook up a second speaker via the XLR line output and, thanks to the 35mm stand flange, the whole thing can be placed atop any standard 35mm stand or speaker pole for enhanced projection. Featuring a lightweight ABS housing complete with a handle and wheels, the Vonyx VSA12 is definitely portable enough.
