The TT051-A active speaker by RCF is super compact, with a height of 35 cm and a width of 13 cm, but don't let that fool you, since this 15kg speaker produces substantial sound. The black TT051-A is equipped with a two-way digital amplifier and was designed specifically for indoor use with a short, specific range and high sound quality. This makes the TT051-A suited for use as a monitor in theatres and concert venues.

Power, Range and Dispersion

The total power of the TT051-A speaker is 300 W RMS is divided to supply the low and high frequencies with 150 Watts each. The crossover point is at 1,800 Hz with a range from 65 to 20,000 Hz. The sound comes out of a 5-inch woofer with a 1.2-inch voice coil and a 1-inch tweeter with metal compression driver. The maximum SPL is 116 dB with a dispersion angle of 110 by 110 degrees, which is perfect for closed rooms.

RDNet-ready, power and protection

RCF's TT051-A can be connected via an XLR input and output, making this device RDNet-ready so that it can be used in a network with other RCF speakers. Should you add the RDNet, it can then be controlled from a distance via a computer with the RDNet software. Furthermore, the device is powered via locking power connectors which are easy to connect and lock. There are also plenty of useful features hidden internally, such as a soft limiter and a DSP controlled processor. There's also a DSP processor in this speaker which offers protection against high temperatures, sound distortion and clipping. Convection cooling is used to control the internal temperature. Finally, it's easy to move and transport this speaker thanks to the convenient handles on the top and bottom.
