QSC couldn't do without a powerful line array system and here it is: the KLA series. The KLA series consists of the KLA-12 satellite speaker and the KLA-181 subwoofer. The KLA-12 is an active speaker that's fitted with a 12-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch compression driver that together make for a wide frequency range of 44 Hz to 20 kHz. As the speaker is bi-amplified, both bass and trebles can benefit from a continuous power of 500 Watts. This incredible amount of power provides an amazing maximum sound pressure level of 128 dB.

QSC KLA-12: Double the Power

The QSC KLA-12 exceeds the term powerful - with its woofer/driver combination it's able to produce 128 dB. This can even be extended as the KLA12's design allows you to place up to five KLA12s on top of each other. You'll be treated to a full-blown sound with a combined power of 5,000 Watts. Its sturdy construction also makes the speaker ideal for rental companies.

Line Array Speaker with Guardrail Protection System

The KLA-12 is fitted with QSC's own Guardrail system. This optimally protects the line array speaker from all the troubles that amps and active speakers might suffer. When they're overheating, for instance, most amplifiers automatically switch themselves off. This is not the case with Guardrail, as it adjusts the output level to fence off any danger. You'll never be without sound!
