The Opera 510 DX is one of the models from the Opera DX line by dB Technologies. The DX series is a new chapter in the success story of the Opera series, which has been around for over a decade now. DB Technologies has been at it again, and has succeeded once more in providing a quality product with a great price. The 10-inch woofer and 1-inch driver make the 510 DX suitable for playing music and smaller live performances. The 510 DX makes a great combination with a subwoofer, such as the Sub 15D by dB Technologies, if you want those deep low frequencies.

The technology of the Opera 510 DX

Along with the 400W Digipro G2 amplifier, the Opera 510 DX also has a 10-inch woofer and a 1-inch driver. The dispersion of the 510 DX amounts to 80/65 x 60 degrees, and comes out of an asymmetrical CD horn. In this way, the treble is broadly projected at short distance, but can still travel quite far. Furthermore, the frequency response ranges from 62 to 20,000 Hz at -10 dB, and the maximum sound pressure that the 510 DX can produce is 122 dB (SPL). Finally, the 510 DX is equipped with both an XLR and a 6.3mm jack input signal and output.

The exterior of the speaker

This black speaker is made of polypropylene, which makes the Opera 510 DX less susceptible to unsightly scratches, not to mention it weighs only 21.6 lbs (9.8 kg). Finally, thanks to the built-in 35mm stand adapter, the 510 DX can easily be mounted to a stand.
