Amid the success of their Opera series speakers, the designers at dB Technologies haven't been resting on their laurels. In fact, they've been evidently busy developing further improvements on the shape, cone design and DSP integration. The Opera 12 is the fruit of their labour. As before, you can expect highly energetic sound, combining power and precision at an excellent price.

Music and speech

The Opera 12 features a 12-inch woofer that has a noticeably fuller delivery than that of the 10-inch version and a tighter overall sound than the 15-inch. If you're looking for a speaker that handles speech just as well as it handles music, then the Opera 12 is your new best friend! It can even be used as a floor monitor; be connected to your mixer and has two inputs fitted so you can connect two separate sound sources at the same time.

New features

The new Opera speakers feature the special asymmetrical CD cone that have made this dB Technologies series such a success. With the new models, this has been completely redesigned to give the speakers even greater sound dispersion than before. The new models also have a DSP processor on board with 8 EQ presets, making it easier than ever to adjust the sound to suit the environment you're in.
