The Tascam HS-2000 broadcast recorder allows you to record two tracks, while a clear touch screen offers a clear overview of the incoming signal and the settings. Say goodbye to complicated menu structures or want of controls - with the HS-2000 you can simply adjust your settings by touching them. The recorder is equipped with various inputs and outputs, both analogue and digital.
Colour touch screen as the basis of the HS-2000
The colour display of the HS-2000 features a touch screen interface. As such, it's not only easy to monitor your settings, but to adjust them as well. The screen can be tilted to create an optimal viewing angle.
Storage options and connectors of the recorder
The HS-2000 serves as both an audio mixer and an A/D converter. After the signal has been optimised, it can be easily stored on two CompactFlash cards. That way, the analogue signal is converted into a digital file. The two CompactFlash slots are capable of both synchronised and consecutive recording.
The HS-2000 features mainly analogue connectors, but also offers digital options. Both analogue and digital balanced XLR inputs and outputs are available, and it is possible to add an SMPTE timecode signal as well - ideal if a signal has to be synchronised with video or during post-editing. Audio monitoring is an option thanks to the analogue monitor outputs. Finally, the Tascam HS-2000 broadcast recorder can be operated from a control room.
