Ortega's Striped Suite is a classical guitar with style. Among its impressive features is an armrest made of acacia that offers extra playing comfort. Striped Suite: wood types and sound

The top is made of solid Alaskan spruce that offers a bright sound which is projected beautifully by the striped ebony back and sides. Just the right amount of warmth is added to the tone by the blackwood fretboard and bridge. Incidentally, the bridge is Ortega's own design and has 12 holes instead of 6 which improves the sound, helps the tuning stability and also makes it easier to change the strings.
