The Warwick Corvette Basic 4 Honey Violin OFC kicks off the German manufacturer's RockBass series. Despite the fact that it's packing passive pickups, this high-quality bass produces the characteristic low growl that Warwick's popular basses are known for. With German MEC J/J pickups and four controls for volume, balance and tone (x2), this Corvette's great dynamic response can be tweaked to perfection whether you're in the studio or on the stage.

Top-class hardware

Like all bass guitars by Warwick, the Corvette Basic is made using first-class wood types. The body is made of alder while the neck is made of maple with strips of Ekanga veneer to improve stability. The rosewood fretboard has 24 frets. The strings run via the adjustable Just A Nut III string nut over the 2-piece Warwick bridge that has 3-way adjustment. Warwick's own sealed self-lubricating machine heads are smooth and easy to use and are tension-adjustable too. The Warwick Corvette Basic 4 is suitable for all styles of music and this bass 'slaps' with the best of them!
